Introduction
Sharilyn Chavez is a career and life coach who, as she puts it, is “just here helping people get out of their own way one session at a time.”
During her session, we worked to capture images for her website that helped convey her warm personality and empowering energy.
Our Process
Sharilyn wanted her personal branding photographs to have potential clients feeling a sense of safety and connection, knowing that they are in a space where they can be vulnerable without judgement. She wanted to communicate a welcoming and approachable presence, reflecting the compassionate and empathetic nature of her coaching. At the same time, she wanted to inspire confidence and a sense of possibility.
To help with this, we wanted the photos to feel balanced. We wanted to feel hopeful, encouraging, and like you could easily connect with Sharilyn. So we made sure the posing was confident, but also playful. We incorporated some props like books, but added a twist with the red-soled heels and the top bun. We had her kicking in the air and even using the books as a pillow. All of this worked to create a story of knowledgeable, but grounded and playful.
