A Thorough Consultation Starts the Planning Process
You may have seen the phrase “just show up and I’ll handle the rest” when doing your homework on brand photographers. While the sentiment is well-intended to put potential clients at ease, it’s not quiiiiite a recipe for a successful shoot.
That’s why my approach to branding photography always begins with a thorough consultation. This is what actually sets the tone for the best results and a gallery full of images that are more than pretty – they’re impactful.
During your consultation I’ll get to learn more about you, your business, and the ideal client you’re eager to work with. I’ll get an understanding of what you want, and (just as importantly) what you don’t want your visuals to communicate to your audience.
The consultation allows us both to continue the planning process with clarity, confidence, and excitement, now that we know exactly what direction we’re going!

Location, Location, Location
The vision that comes to life in the consultation process is step one.
Selecting the right location is step two – but it’s much more than that: It’s also the glue, the foundation, and the container that holds the vision together.
While I wouldn’t go so far as to say there’s a wrong choice (I can make magic in lots of different environments and conditions!), there’s certainly going to be a fit that’s most ideal for your brand messaging and aesthetic.
Here are some examples:
If your brand is founded in holistic approaches, adventure, natural ingredients, or anything that qualifies as more organic, action-based, or free-spirited, then an outdoor location would be a great fit.
If, on the other hand, your aesthetic is more clean, structural, minimalist, or anything that identifies as “timeless”, “classic”, or “luxury”, then a studio space would support that vision.
Sometimes there’s also the matter of how the images will be used. If you plan to create a graphics-heavy approach to your marketing and content, then clean non-distracting backdrops will be preferred.
The good news is that I’ll be personally guiding you towards what will ultimately be the best fit for your personal branding shoot!
The Vision Comes to Life on Shoot Day – With Posing Guidance!
We’ve meticulously planned the location, the wardrobe, the marketing goals, and the overall aesthetic. Now all that’s left to do is bring it from the “mood board” to reality!
On shoot day is the only time I get to say, “Just show up and trust the process” and mean it. Because together we have laid a foundation that supports this; and the rest is fully in my hands to realize for you!
Throughout your session you will be gently but clearly coached through each pose, wardrobe change, and prop selection/placement. Nothing will be left up to guesswork for you.
You may arrive with some nerves (which is totally normal!), but by the time that final photo is captured, you’ll feel like the boss that you are: Confident, empowered, and excited to share this polished, professional version of you with your audience!

It’s about betting on yourself and delivering the most evolved iteration of your brand and business to your clients and followers.

Introduce yourself! Tell me all the details — no detail is too small! I love hearing about your vision.
02 | Consultation
We’ll schedule a call to go over what you’re looking for. Feel free to bring any inspiration and questions you may have.
03 | Booking Proposal
I’ll prepare a booking proposal and send it over. Once you’ve signed your contract and submitted payment, we’ll jump into the fun, creative part.
04 | Questionnaire + Mood Board
Through these, we’ll get super specific about the transformation you want to see. I’ll ask more logistical questions like where you are in the branding process and what your brand colors are, but also high-level questions so that we can ensure your brand photos are effective marketing tools for years to come.
05 | Strategy Call
This helps ensure we’re on the same page and we’ll walk away with a game plan so your session is as strategic as possible— we’ll chat shot list, prop list, location, wardrobe, and schedule. I want you to walk away with the best photo library that you can use in your marketing — from your website to your next launch.
06 | Photoshoot
The day is here! Since we’ll have planned so much beforehand, today is our day to have fun and, basically, create magic.
07 | Receive your photographs
After your photoshoot, you’ll receive your proofing gallery of all of the images that we took. From there, you will be able to select your absolute favorites for editing.

Quick Details
Photoshoots typically last 2-4 hours depending on the scope.
They can be on-site (i.e. your home, your office, storefront, etc.) or in a rented studio that I help you find.
I’ll give you guidance on shot list, prop list, outfits, and locations.
You’ll receive a proofing gallery afterwards for you to choose the final photos.
Starting client investment: $2500.
Interested in ongoing collaboration?
I offer subscription services where we schedule shoots monthly or quarterly.
This is a great option if you need consistent, cohesive imagery throughout the year.
